About
My name is Ebun and I'm a web app junkie.
I have a passion for web applications and spend most of my time thinking about how we interact with them and how they help us get things done. When I'm not doing that, I can usually be found getting down on dance floors, working with Ruby/RoR or drowning in 90's music.
I've worked as a Java developer/technology consultant at a large corporation (Accenture), a software product manager at a small, San Francisco fashion startup (Tobi.com), the sole native-speaking English teacher to ~1300 students in rural Japan (Kunohe Village, Iwate and Hitachi City, Ibaraki), and most recently, as a product manager at an education technology startup (Zinch.com).
You can find me here or all around the world (wide web):
- Product Breakdown - This is a blog that I run to study web apps, services and their features. The majority of posts are "breakdowns" which deconstruct a given app, service or feature via the 5 W's of journalism.
- LinkedIn Profile - Professional profile.
- Google Plus Profile - Connect with me.
- Kiva Lender Page - Because if you "Give a man a fish, he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." (Kiva helps people teach themselves how to fish by cutting out the governmental middleman).
- Philanthroper Donor Page - Because a little goes a long way.
